Toothbrushing

Brushing teeth can be a lot all at once: the taste of the toothpaste, the feel of the bristles, the sound of the brush and someone close to your child's face. These free printables help you keep it slow, calm and the same every time.

How to use them

  • Read the picture book together at a calm time, or just before the routine.
  • Print the picture cards, cut them out and put them where the routine happens.
  • Point to each step as you do it: the same steps, in the same order, every time.
  • Short on time or energy? Use fewer steps. The parent page in each book shows which ones.
